SC-Rumble by Vibrazioni Art Design, the work of art born from the Scrambler Ducati – Pirelli duo [PHOTO and VIDEO]

SC-Rumble by Vibrazioni Art Design – The technical collaboration between Ducati and Pirelli also involved the new Borgo Panigale brand, Scrambler Ducati. In fact, all versions of the Scrambler are equipped with Pirelli MT 60 RS tyres, developed specifically for the new Italian motorcycle.

Thanks to the strong bond between Ducati and Pirelli Scramblers a new collaboration on the artistic level was also born, which gave rise to a work of art on two wheels, the SC-Rumble, commissioned to Art Design vibes. This is a special made in a single piece on a Scrambler base, which on the two sides of the tank respectively has a rubber plate, laser engraved, which recalls the tread design of the original equipment tires and the Scrambler Ducati logo. There SC-Rumble by Vibrazioni Art Design will be presented to the press on Friday 22 May on the occasion of Bike Shed London, an event dedicated to special motorbikes, where the public will be able to admire it on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th May. From the British capital, the SC-Rumble will then leave for a journey that will take it to the French town of Biarritz where it will participate in the "Wheels and Waves" event scheduled from 11 to 14 June.

La SC-Rumble maintains tires Pirelli MT 60 RS as original equipment mounted on lenticular rims. The standard chassis has been shortened at the rear and all the original superstructures have been removed in favor of a monocoque made from sheets of recovered industrial bins, hammered and shaped by hand while maintaining the original colour. The monocoque was then painted with a transparent polyurethane with a glossy finish to accentuate its brilliance and give the surfaces a smooth appearance to the touch. The fairing, like the side panels made from hand-beaten aluminium, houses a headlight made from solid aluminum with a smoked lens inside which houses a circular LED light guide inspired by the headlight of the standard Ducati Scrambler. The high exhaust is based on the dedicated Termignoni aftermarket model with handcrafted silencer. The bike's set-up and riding style have been modified thanks to the adoption of a rear shock absorber with extended wheelbase, made to measure, and the replacement of the standard handlebar with that of the Ducati Street Fighter, which makes driving more collected and responsive. The decorations on the tank have the writing on one side Ducati Scrambler hand-painted and on the other hand they emphasize the texture of the tread pattern of the Pirelli MT 60 RS, laser engraved on nitrile rubber and applied inside the handle of the tank itself.
