We will see them in Tokyo, on the occasion of the eagerly awaited 2011 edition of the car and motorcycle show. The three Yamaha prototypes will join the new TMax model presented at the most recent edition of the EICMA in Milan.

Moegi 125. The reference to the past is evident. But not to recent years but to decades and decades ago when the idea of ​​a motorized bicycle was destined to remain so. The 125 cc air-cooled engine stands out for its simplicity and attention to detail such as the upside-down fork (complete with decidedly retro headlight) and the six-spoke wheels.

EC-Miu. From the past to the future. Three electric wheels with one at the rear and one at the front, it exhibits a spatial design not only in aesthetics, but also in its 50 cc propulsion system. If stability is necessarily ensured thanks to the presence of the third wheel, the extension of the handlebars into the fork which, together, constitutes a single axis, does not go unnoticed.

Xtw250 Ryoku. If the two previous concepts looked respectively backwards and forwards in time, this two-wheeler tries to remain anchored in the present. It winks at the world of jeeps and SUVs. It is no coincidence that the slogan that will accompany him in the Japanese adventure from 3 to 11 December is "unrestricted, anytime, anywhere" or "without limits, at any time, in any place".
