Royal Enfield Continental GT and Interceptor 650 120th Year Anniversary Edition: Celebrating a long history

Remembering the 120 years since its foundation, Royal Enfield showed the versions “120th Year Anniversary Edition” of the specimens Interceptor e Continental GT with units from 650 cc.

Two limited editions

Designed and developed to highlight the experience and traction of the brand, there are a total of 480 units worldwide divided into 120 unit, Of which 60 models di Continental GT650 and other 60 di Interceptor 650 in the aforementioned limited editions for the various markets of Europe, India, South East Asia and America.
The versions “120th Year Anniversary Edition” they feature a distinctive die-cast brass crest, visible on the tank, hand-forged in collaboration with the artisans of the Sirpi Senthil family, long-time specialists in creating effigies for India's most venerated temples. This is their first collaboration with a company in the automotive sector. Another distinctive aspect of these celebratory models, always looking at the tanks, are the connotative hand-placed Madras gold stripes. And each tank features a unique serial number, highlighting the various models among the 60 unique motorcycles in the four regions of the world already indicated. Remembering the historic Royal Enfield Continental GT 250 and Interceptor 750 dating back to the 60s and the value of these models in the past and in more recent history, these examples were chosen for the celebratory edition. Defined in synergy by the teams linked to the brand in the United Kingdom and India, the Continental GT and the Interceptor 650 "120th Year Anniversary Edition" are therefore characterized by an exclusive look of the intense black chrome tank, created at the historic production plant in Chennai, in India. There are also entirely black components for the first time, such as the engine and exhausts. A series of original accessories are also highlighted, including bar end, windshield, engine guard, heat shield, touring mirrors in black version. 
On the occasion of the opening of sales of the "120th Year Anniversary Edition" versions, the brand will celebrate the moment with the addition of another 120 trees to the growing "Royal Enfield Forest" made in collaboration with the Partner Treedom, constantly engaged in sustainable projects for of reducing the impact of CO2 in the environment to support rural communities around the world, as reported.


Proposal

The pre-order of the 120 copies of the Limited Edition will be active from 18pm on 30 March 7, online on the official Royal Enfield website. The figures reported for the two “120th Year Anniversary Edition” twins are:

Interceptor 650 cc – 9.600 euros VAT included
