Royal Enfield Classic 350: the new model presented [PHOTO]

The launch of the new one on the Indian market Royal Enfield Classic 350 takes place in the year in which the 120th anniversary of the brand is remembered. A revisitation of a representative example, expected in European dealerships during 2022.

The news

Conceived and defined by the teams of designers and engineers active in the two technology centers of Royal Enfield in India and in UK, this specimen represents the fruit of the collaboration of these realities.
The new variants of the Classic 350 proposed for the European market present Dual channel ABS e disk brakes front and rear. Also highlighted are a new handlebar and a slightly modified riding position to support the riding experience and comfort. Also adopted a new analogue/digital instrument panel with LCD display, signaling the presence of a wheel under the handlebar USB socket.
The new Royal Enfield Classic 350 also comes with new and wider seats with soft foam cushion padding and all variants get a pillion seat.
The look of the Classic range takes its cues from the model G2 of the 1948, the first to feature a wishbone rear suspension as standard. The historic example represented a point of reference for the design of the Classic 500 of 2008. A protagonist model in the rebirth of Royal Enfield, until production of the UCE 500 engine was discontinued in 2020. Over the course of 12 years, more than 3 million Classic 500s were built and now the new Classic 350 represents a new piece of the production path.

Technology

The bike is equipped with a new, more rigid frame, designed to promote comfort and handling, providing greater safety at high speeds when cornering and a feeling of stability. The suspensions at the front and rear have also been optimized for comfort.
It has a single cylinder engine da 349 cc air and oil cooled. The power output reaches i 20,2 horses at 6.100 rpm with a torque peak of 27 Nm at 4.000 rpm. The attenuation of vibrations is linked to the inclusion of a countershaft and the unit is associated with a five-speed gearbox.

Proposal

A range of original accessories is available designed to accentuate the aesthetics and functionality of the new one Royal Enfield Classic 350. The different options are designed for specific aspects based on needs. The accessories have a 3-year guarantee and are defined and certified together with the model. Also reported is a clothing line, with helmets, t-shirts and lifestyle accessories that refer to the specimen.
