MX1: the Belgian pilot, Jeremy Van Horebeek, after an excellent start, he launched himself in pursuit of his opponents in front of him, managing to gain first position and arriving at the finish line with a reasonable advantage. Excellent second place for the eight-time World Champion Antonio Cairoli who won the category title. Third place, in competition and in the championship, for Evgeny Bobryshev. At the finish line the Belgian wins the first heat of the year, preceding Cairoli and Bobryshev in that order.

MX2: the Spanish Jorge Prado of Team Red Bull KTM, thanks to the second position, he secured the championship victory. To precede him on the top step of the podium a fantastic Michele Cervellin, author of a formidable comeback. Due to a bad start, the Venetian caught up on his opponents and passed them one after the other, until he took command of the operations during the tenth lap, when he passed Prado and flew towards the victorious finish line. Third place for Samuele Bernardini.

Elite class: great show in the Elite class, reserved for the strongest in MX2 and MX1, with a great Antonio Cairoli. The eight-time World Champion started in second position and, during the first laps, got rid of Jeremy Van Horebeek. The Belgian finished in second place ahead José Butron, excellent third. Romain Febvre finished fourth but achieved the third final position in the championship.

Class 125: With two first places Mikkel Haarup (Husqvarna Ice One), wins a fantastic victory but Gianluca Facchetti twice runner-up wins the 2017 Internazionali d'Italia with Team Maddii. A very encouraging start to the season, therefore, for the rider from Bergamo in view of his preparation for the European Championship. Third of the day was fifteen-year-old Rene Hofer of Team Kini KTM Junior Racing.
The first round of the FIM Motocross World Championship will take place on February 25th on the Losail circuit in Qatar.
