At Roma Motodays 2019, which will be held in the capital from 7 to 10 March, a big surprise awaits visitors. Anyone who buys event tickets and registers for the competition will have the chance to win a Honda CB1000R Tribute, a unique model created by Honda Italia to celebrate 50 years of the Honda 750 Four.

Inside the fair there will also be an exhibition entitled “Honda 750 Four. And nothing was ever the same again”, dedicated precisely to the historic motorcycle from the Golden Wing manufacturer. In 1968, the Honda 750 Four was presented for the first time at the Tokyo Motor Show, it was equipped with a 4 cc in-line 736-stroke engine with chain overhead distribution, with two valves per cylinder. A revolution for the time, given that most of the competition used pushrod and rocker valve distribution. It was also equipped with electronic starter, 5-speed gearbox and power supply with 4 28 mm carburettors, for a maximum power of 69 horsepower at 8.000 rpm, which allowed it to reach 200 km/h. At Roma Motodays there will be various versions of the Honda 750 Four, including a K0 Sandcas, but also some examples of the Honda 500, 350 and 400, derived from the progenitor 750

The engineer. Silvio Manicardi, one of the creators of Roma Motodays, said: “To celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of this motorcycle which represented a revolution in the market, we have decided to dedicate our thematic exhibition to the Honda 750 Four. Once this project was communicated to Honda Italia, the idea was born to also create a heritage motorcycle that would recall the lines of the legendary 750 Four. The designers set to work to create a factory special, the Honda CB1000R Tribute, which at the end of the fair can be taken home by a lucky visitor."

The Honda CB1000R Tribute is characterized by graphics and logos tribute to the original CB750 Four K0 from 1968. The rims are tubeless with Jonich spokes, the exhaust pipe is split and signed by SC-Project. Also making it unique are the Alcantara saddle, handlebar counterweights, mirrors and direction indicators by Rizoma and Lightech license plate holder.
