The eleventh edition of the event was inaugurated on Thursday 7 March Rome MotoDays, which will continue until the 10th.

The capital's motorcycle and moped fair began immediately with great guests, such as the exceptional testimonial of the event, the four-time Superbike world champion Carl “King” Fogarty and the singer Max Gazzè, always linked to the world of motors.

Peter Piccinetti, sole administration of Rome Fair, said: “Fiera Roma has a mission focused on economic and social development. Roma Motodays has an extremely important significance for our city which, with a territory of 1.287 square kilometers and an extension equal to eight Italian cities, has over 395.000 motorcycles circulating on its streets every day. We have worked to enrich the program with content, giving a great boost to what has become the most important international motorcycle tourism exchange in Italy, within one of the most significant events of our trade fair centre. The event has always represented a point of reference for sustainable mobility, and this year it is even more so, launching new challenges, from green mobility to the bike economy, and paying great attention to road safety, thanks also to the contribution that in this edition will contribute ANAS, presenting its technological innovations for road safety".

Carl Fogarty he then added: “I hadn't been to Rome for fifteen years and I'm happy to be back for Roma Motodays. I love Italy, a country to which I am very attached through Ducati. Being here is a wonderful feeling, I appreciate the warmth of the people who still remember me and my victories. There is a special atmosphere among so many enthusiasts who love two wheels." A joke about the Superbike world couldn't be missing: “I've been critical in the past but I'm finally enjoying watching the world championship, I think the new formula introduced in 2019 with three races per weekend is spot on. We are on the right path to make Superbike an increasingly spectacular and competitive category."

Also present IMF, the Italian Motorcycle Federation, which with John Copioli, president of Federmoto, declared: “We are thrilled to be at Rome Motodays, an event with which there is extensive collaboration. Until Sunday we will organize various activities and initiatives of all kinds: education and road safety, motorbike tourism, vintage motorbikes and sports. Roma Motodays is constantly growing, as fans who will have the opportunity to have fun this year will be able to verify this. Until Sunday we will experience an exciting four days of motorcycling."
