RMU Mechanics Academy – After the great success of past years, the appointment with RMU Mechanics Academy returns, the school for those who dream of working in the world of motorcycle competitions now in its fourth edition.

RMU Mechanics Academy what it is

The racing motorcycle manufacturer RMU Moto, leader in the displacement classes up to 250cc, in collaboration with large partners such as Motul, 2D, Malossi, Beta Tools and with the patronage of the Italian Motorcycle Federation, has organized for the fourth year a basic professional training course for racing motorcycle mechanics, reserved for boys and girls aged between 18 and 28. The course includes 300 hours of practical and theoretical lessons, company testimonials and educational visits to Racing facilities. The lessons will be held by technicians and experts who work in the world championship. The lessons will start on Monday 5 November at the RMU Moto factory in Via Umberto Boccioni 3 in Reggio Emilia and will end in February 2019. “For the fourth year we are organizing the course for basic mechanics which has attracted great interest for its practical and employment implications – explains the Course Coordinator Ramona Gattamelati – in the first three editions 85% of participants found work in Italian Championship teams and in high motorcycle series. The idea was born from the fact that as many young drivers grew in our team every year, we realized that there was also a need for young mechanics to support them and it seemed useful to us to complete the skills of our RMU VR46 RA team with a of training aimed at creating these figures required today by the world of work“. The final aim of the RMU Mechanics Academy is to identify new talents for motorcycling and mechanics, where Italy plays a leading role. It is enough to mention the names of Fiorenzo Fanali, Silvano Galbusera, Mauro Noccioli, Giovanni Sandi, Rossano Brazzi, Iller Aldini and many others, and act as an intermediary between the students and the stables. The admission aptitude tests will take place on Wednesday 26 September at the RMU Moto headquarters. To be admitted you must demonstrate aptitude and authentic passion for this job. The course has a limited number of places.
