RINA will provide Aprilia Racing with its engineering expertise forged in over 160 years of activity in various sectors, ranging from automotive to aerospace, from advanced production technologies to the study of sophisticated materials.

The agreement

RINA will flank aprilia-racing also regarding sustainability, given the path already undertaken by a competitive landscape increasingly oriented towards the theme of decarbonisation.
The collaboration projects the RINA brand on the livery of Aprilia Racing motorcycles starting from the MotoGP Italian Grand Prix, scheduled for the weekend at the Mugello International Circuit.
The intellectual union between these two Italian technological realities is oriented towards all areas of the creation of a racing prototype. Through multidisciplinary knowledge and "technology transfer" methodologies developed by RINA, Aprilia Racing will be able to consolidate its pioneering role by introducing onto the track, at a sporting level and beyond, solutions never previously evaluated, as indicated.
RINA has profound experience in defining innovative solutions which, through numerical simulation platforms, aim to refine aerodynamic and dynamic performance. Over the years, the company has also contributed to the definition of advanced IoT (Internet of Things) systems, useful for understanding and improving elaborate industrial processes.
Regarding the study and development of innovative materials and technologies, RINA relies on several research centers in which around 250 experts, including specialized technicians and engineers, operate.
