Continue the journey towards i FIM Awards, the awards ceremony for the world motorcycling champions scheduled in Rimini on 3 December. After the start of Ride to FIM Awards – The future of the Motorcycling at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli last September 1st, with a workshop aimed at the professional training of young drivers, the second stage is scheduled in Rimini, on the occasion of the Transitalia Marathon FIM Adventure Touring Challenge, with two meetings on the 23rd and 24th September.

Ahead of the FIM Awards

Four events are planned Ride to FIM Awards 2022 on the agenda:

– Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli 1st September – “Professional growth workshop for young drivers”.
– Rimini Transitalia Marathon FIM Adventure Touring Challenge, 24/25 September Roundtable “Promotion and development of motorbike tourism and sustainability”.
– Ducati Borgo Panigale Museum, 29 November – Roundtable “Future and sustainability in motorsport”.
– Rimini Teatro Galli, 3 December – Meet&Greets FIM World Champions.

As indicated, the second stage is scheduled in Rimini on the occasion of the "Transitalia Marathon", an international event that attracts motorbike tourists from various parts of the world with over 400 participants expected in the expo area on Saturday and Sunday, before the scheduled start on Monday 26th.
In this context, the International Motorcycle Federation (FIM), together with the Italian one (FMI), organized two discussion panels with topics related to the promotion of two-wheel tourism compatible with the environmental context.
The theme for the two days is the following: "Motorcycle tourism as an accelerator of development for a sustainable approach to the environment".
Friday 23 a meeting focused on tourism is planned as an "Opportunity to discover the beauty, culture and value of the territories together with a sustainable and environmentally friendly approach".
Among the speakers are expected representatives of local institutions and academics, the Emilia-Romagna Region, Visit Romagna, the Municipality of Rimini, the Rimini Forestry Unit Carabinieri Group, the Center for Advanced Studies on Tourism of the University of Bologna and last but not least the Italian Motorcycle Federation.
On the same day, at 19 pm, international off-road expert drivers will be available at the FIM Hospitality for a Meet&Greets among those in attendance.
Saturday 24Then, a round table is scheduled regarding the motorcycle industry, specifically talking about: "Promotion and development of motorcycle tourism in harmony with the environment and sustainability, with a focus on the industry". A discussion between representatives of the manufacturers and operators in the motorcycle sector, enriched by experiences and future prospects.
