Honda: forty Africa Twins to Cape North and back

The first edition of the Honda Adventure is coming to its conclusion with over 40 riders who have embarked on one of the most loved and treacherous routes ever, the one that leads from Oslo to Caponord.

It didn't take long to fill the participants' boxes: when word of the initiative spread, there were many requests and there was truly extraordinary interest in this first edition of "Honda Adventure Road". The riders are all professionals: not only commentators or top Honda customers but also journalists, bloggers, commentators in the automotive area looking for a more unique than rare experience. The route designed by Honda offered no concessions to anyone: 3500 difficult kilometers which see the very long final stretch of road, in an almost lunar scenario, which brings its climax to Caponord. The road began on June 26th on a fleet of brand new Africa Twins, the legendary maxienduro that Honda relaunched with great success in 2016, climbing between fjords and passers-by towards the far north of Norway.

The format was a success: at Honda they are already thinking of replicating it perhaps before the end of the year and certainly in 2018 because the return in the field of social networks and passion has been extraordinary. Among the participants also two official riders from the Honda teams, the Portuguese Paulo Gonçalves and the Argentine Kevin Benavides. On the official Honda website there is a daily diary of photos, thoughts and emotions from the riders who are about to conclude this extraordinary adventure. We will certainly return to the event once it has concluded to test what was the first historic expedition of a platoon of Africa Twins towards one of the scenically evocative places in the world.
