Quadro Vehicles: even more safety with HTS suspensions [PHOTO]
The Quadro4 seeks to combine freedom, stability and driving pleasure
Vehicles panel it doesn't just mean four-wheeled motorcycles, but also research and innovation. The Swiss company, in fact, designed and developed the innovative system HTSTM hydro-pneumatic suspension (Hydraulic Tilting System), a revolutionary technology patented internationally which allowed the team of engineers and designers of the Ticino company to develop the first four-wheel tilting vehicle in the world, the Table4.
Not a simple vehicle, but a new concept of mobility, capable of bringing out - and coexisting - two intrinsically and diametrically opposed emotions: freedom and stability. Quadro4 was born with the intention of uniting four construction cornerstones. It starts with the HTS (Hydraulic Tilting System), the innovative hydro-pneumatic suspension system, capable of making the vehicle absorb every roughness in the road, constantly keeping the four wheels on the ground. The dual HTS of the Quadro4 allows you to reach a tilt of 45 degrees.
Attention then shifts toAWBS (All Wheel Braking System), a combined and balanced braking system (50% front – 50% rear) on all four wheels with four disc brakes. This braking system, together with the innovative features of the HTS, make the Quadro4 the perfect vehicle for traveling around the city, even in the wet. The AWBS also means you don't have to put your feet on the ground when stopping at traffic lights.
Among the strong points of Quadro4 there is also the dynamic 350cc Quadro engine with integrated differential for double rear wheel drive with toothed belts. The double countershaft eliminates vibrations and guarantees high comfort even over long distances, as well as great driving safety. The last pillar is precisely linked to this point: thanks to its extraordinary chassis, high stability and simple and intuitive handling, the Quadro4 is safe in every situation. It is also possible to drive the Quadro4 with a car licence.
