Just an initial step to embark on a new path linked to Ténéré 700. Among the key features of the prototype, a suspension part consisting of a fork 48 millimeters with excursion from 270 mm with a CNC triple clamp triple clamp, then a new long travel shock from 260 mm. The braking system includes a new front brake lever, braided hoses and a new caliper fixing bracket and is made up in the front area of ​​a single front disc 300 mm equipped with racing pads and also a new brake master cylinder, while behind there is an oversized disc from 267 mm.

The propulsion part is then associated with: a new high-use Rekluse clutch lever with a two-part cover; a new oil cooler and water pump cover; an oversized radiator; dual cooling fans; High performance airbox and filter; a 48-tooth chainring; a GYTR ECU engine control unit; then a Racing Akrapovič titanium exhaust.
This special example was developed by Yamaha in Europe considering the experience of riders Alessandro Botturi and Pol Tarrés, aiming to use the full potential of the Ténéré 700. The two "Yamaha ambassadors" evaluated and approved its characteristics on the most demanding sections of the Moroccan desert, as reported.
