Pirelli lancia Scorpion Trail III, the new generation of adventure touring tyres which present themselves as the sportiest ever on asphalt among the Scorpion family motorcycle products.

Designed for modern adventure and crossover motorcycles, the new Pirelli Scorpion Trail III is a tire street enduro, therefore mainly intended for use on asphalt but which also allows you to tackle off-road routes. 

Reliable on asphalt and dirt roads

On asphalt, the new Pirelli Scorpion Trail III tires promise very sporty behaviour, with high levels of grip and handling, excellent stability even at full load and wet performance similar to that of a Sport-Touring segment tyre. Passing on dirt roads, the constant alternation of the central and transversal grooves under the footprint guarantees control and traction. Added to this is also a notable acoustic comfort. 

Features 

The qualities of the new Pirelli Scorpion Trail III are the result of a series of elements that compose it, starting from tread design, evolution of that of its predecessor Scorpion Trial II, which contributed to improving stability and driving precision thanks to the integration of the design of the Diablo sports range with notches on the central band which allow drainage on wet surfaces and lateral driving stability on terrain softer,
while offering even wear. Furthermore, the integration with robust central and shoulder traction grooves has been designed to offer good guidance and traction even on dirt roads.

As for the mixes, the Pirelli Scorpion Trail III offers 100% silica-based radials for both the front and rear, with the rear dual-compound radials that use a soft compound on the shoulders and use different plasticizing resins that optimize grip when cornering. The central band of the tread instead adopts a harder compound, designed to offer greater stability, wear resistance and mileage. 

Equipped with highly rigid structures and profiles with a multi-spoke approach, the new Pirelli Scorpion Trail III tire will be available, in different sizes, during the first half of 2024.
