Pirelli Scorpion Mx32 – The steep walls of the Alto Garda Dolomites were the backdrop for the Trentino Grand Prix, eighth stage of the Motocross World Championship, which took place on the historic “Ciclamino” facility.

The Italian track is characterized by a hard surface which, due to the storms that raged in the area over the weekend, was deeply dug in, putting riders and bikes to the test. In these conditions, the drivers equipped with Pirelli tires were able to count on the excellent Scorpion Mx32s which demonstrated their effectiveness, allowing the Milanese company to continue its series of Grand Prix victories this season. Great show in the MXGP class which was won, for the second time in a row, by Antonio Cairoli. The eight-time World Champion, who in the race used the Scorpion Mx32 110/90-19 rear and the new Scorpion Mx32 PRO 80/100-21 front developed for hard terrain, also used by Max Nagl, managed to win the first heat and finishing the final heat in second place. Behind Cairoli, excellent race by Romain Febvre who, after a great comeback in race 1, won the second. Good performance also for Tim Gajser who preferred the Scorpion Mx32 120/90-19 rear, a tire that offers a greater footprint on the ground, and ended the Grand Prix on the third step of the podium maintaining the Red Plate as leader in the championship. Kevin Strijbos and Max Nagl completed yet another triumphant day for Pirelli in the premier class by finishing fourth and fifth.

Hard-fought races also in the MX2 class which saw Jeffrey Herlings win for the eighth time in a row. The Dutchman, who opted for the Scorpion Mx32 110/90-19 at the rear and the Scorpion Mx32 80/100-21 at the front, had to work hard to gain first position ahead of a wild Dylan Ferrandis, who was able to break the Dutchman's hegemony by winning the first heat. Third step of the podium for Pauls Jonass. Good placings also for Samuele Bernardini and Jeremy Seewer who closed the top five of the day in this order. After three consecutive races, the Motocross World Championship will take a break next weekend and will resume its journey on May 29th from Talavera de la Reina, Spain, for the ninth round of the season.
