With its wide range of tires intended for motorbikes, the long P brand has, in fact, been chosen to fit as original equipment the most important innovations presented by some of the most prestigious motorcycle manufacturers such as MV Agusta, Ducati, Triumph and Moto Guzzi.

There are nine models of Pirelli tires selected to equip the new motorcycle proposals for 2016. We range from hyper-sporty Diablo Super Corsa SP to super sports cars like new Diablo Rosso III, Diablo Rosso II and Diablo Rosso Corsa up to the family of street enduro tires such as the Scorpion Trail and its successor Scorpion Trail II. Without forgetting historic tires from the Pirelli range such as MT 60 RS, Phantom Sportscomp and Sport Demon chosen by motorcycle manufacturers and customizers to equip modern cafe racers, medium-sized customs and modern classics.

The new Pirelli Diablo Rosso II supersport tire has been chosen as the original equipment tire for the new MV Agusta Brutale 800 in the sizes 120/70 ZR 17 M/C (58W) TL front and 180/55 ZR 17 M/C (73W) ) Rear TL. The Diablo Rosso III is the direct successor of the Diablo Rosso II but raises the bar of sportiness even higher, exacerbating the qualities of its predecessor to the highest levels, enhancing its values in terms of handling and grip with long-lasting performance. Designed and developed according to the latest generation of powerful road motorcycles characterized by important technological features and electronic assistance systems, Diablo Rosso III is a tire born from the track for the road because it takes advantage of all the research and know-how acquired by Pirelli in the FIM Superbike World Championship in the last twelve years of participation as Official Tire Supplier.

The new Multistrada 1200 Enduro has been equipped with Pirelli Scorpion Trail II in the sizes 120/70 ZR 19 M/C 60W TL (D) front and 170/60 ZR 17 M/C 72W TL (D) rear where the letter D between brackets indicates a specification developed ad hoc for the new version of the Multistrada family. Designed for the most demanding motorcyclists, this tire's points of excellence include high mileage, consistent performance throughout its entire life cycle and first-rate wet behavior. The innovative tread design of Scorpion Trail II is the result of the typical off road style of the Scorpion line enriched by the experience gained by Pirelli with the development of Angel GT, Pirelli's best sport touring tire considered the reference in its segment. As an option it is possible to fit, in the same sizes, Pirelli Scorpion Rally tires more suitable for off-road use. Instead, the new XDiavel features fourteen-spoke rims with visible mechanical work. At the front, the wheel rim is 3,5 x 17'', while at the rear there is an 8 x 17'' rim. The XDiavel S instead sports exclusive 12-spoke curved wheels with machined work that highlights the design.

The English motorcycle manufacturer Triumph also relies on Pirelli tires to equip its new models. Phantom Sportscomp was chosen by the Hinckley house as the new Bonneville family's equipment. Specifically, to equip the new Street Twin, Bonneville T120 and Bonneville T120 Black, Pirelli worked closely with Triumph engineers, identifying the new sizes 100/90 – 18 M/C 65H TL front and 150/70 R 17 M/ C 69H TL rear the best ones to fit the new motorcycles of the Bonneville line. In addition to the Street Twin, Bonneville T120 and Bonneville T120 Black with Phantom Sportscomp, another motorcycle from the Bonneville family is equipped with Pirelli: this is the new Thruxton R, the most exciting and authentic Triumph sports classic of all time, which is fitted with the high-performance Pirelli DIABLO ROSSO™ CORSA tires in the sizes 120/70 ZR 17 M/C (58W) TL front and 160/60 ZR 17 M/C (69W) TL rear.

Already chosen to equip the V7 II model in the Stone, Special and Racer versions, the Mandello del Lario company has in fact confirmed the Sport Demon tires also for the brand new V9 Roamer. The Moto Guzzi V9 Roamer, equipped with 100/90-19 M/C 57V TL front tires and 150/80 V16 M/C (71V) TL rear tires, is a medium displacement custom, heir to a custom tradition of over forty years years, which opens a new product and displacement segment in the Mandello del Lario range. The V9 Roamer takes up the legacy left by the legendary Nevada, which remained in the range for over twenty years and appreciated for its ease by an audience of all ages, both male and female. Sport Demon is a tire with conventional construction perfect for motorcycles intended for touring use because it offers uniform and progressive behavior in all riding conditions thanks to the multi-radius rear profile as well as high grip on dry and wet surfaces combined with excellent mileage.
