Pirelli: Kristian Ghedina tests the new Scorpion Rally STR on the snow of St. Moritz astride the Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled

Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR – It was well known that Ducati and Pirelli were historic partners, but this time they went further.
The new Italian tyre Scorpion Rally STR – an on/off enduro cover, specially designed for the latest generation of adventure bikes – it has in fact been tailor-made for the new Ducati Scrambler Desert Next.
This is the last frontier of the dual tire which manages to combine the best performance of an off road tire with that of a street enduro tyre: an aggressive tread and important technological innovations guarantee great traction on dirt roads, stability even at high speeds , easy handling and agility on the road as well as comfort and grip in all driving conditions.
Chapter apart from that of design, in which the new Scorpion Rally STR excels thanks to a new block optimized for road use following the increase in the rubber surface in contact with the ground. Moreover, unlike what happens with cars, the tire represents a fundamental component for the look of a motorbike; and in this case it was hit.

Pirelli, for the launch of its new product, has thought of an exceptional testimonial: Kristian Ghedina, the best downhill skier that Italian skiing has ever boasted who, on the snow of St. Moritz, was able to put the new Scorpion Rally STR – studded for the occasion – mounted on the little one from Ducati.
The result amazed even the former Italian: “It's fantastic to believe you can go on the snow with a motorbike, something that many think is impossible to do.
