The new motorcycle tire introduced Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV Corsa, a highly sporty example in the Diablo Rosso overview. Description

A. is used for the tire structure with zero degree steel belt, taking up a concept developed in the competitive landscape, capable of adapting to different levels of stress and working effectively with the most advanced electronic systems.
One is also highlighted stiff cord technology with the use of stiffer cords and at the same time distributed with a lower density (-20%), compared to a Diablo Rosso III supersport tyre. A scheme that gives more space to the rubber compound which, through its damping properties, intensifies the feeling and driving precision.

Moving on to the profiles, the experience acquired in the production-derived championship stands out. The profiles are of sporting origin and characterized by a multi-radius shape which improves handling.
The central band includes a sharper profile to quickly facilitate lean descent and direction changes. In the lateral bands the curvature is less accentuated to increase the contact area and favor traction when cornering. The front and rear tires feature a similar profile setting, aiming for balanced behaviour.

The tread pattern is characterized by a precise repetitiveness of central carvings and from aslicker lateral area, obtaining a 25% lower empty and full ratio compared to the Diablo Rosso IV (in comparison the rear size 190/55 ZR 17, as specified).
The set of longitudinal grooves, in the central part of the tread, protects directional stability and facilitates water evacuation. The orientation follows the waves of wear and favors homogeneous consumption, therefore the positioning increases structural stability to support constant performance.
Linear grooves of different lengths in the intermediate section of the tread are also highlighted, based on a functional scheme in the relationship between flexibility and water expulsion. There is then a large slick area on the shoulders which promotes high levels of grip, precision and stability in lean angles.
Il front tire tread is characterized by three zones with the use of two different compounds, a central band is highlighted with a Full Silica compound for 45% of the profile portion and in the contact area up to 25 degrees of lean angle; then the lateral bands with a Full Silica compound that is softer than the central portion, based on the use of innovative high-melting temperature resins.

Lo dual-compound scheme also characterizes the rear tyre, thinking about road performance in harmony with the front tire. The Full Silica central compound offers a rapid warm-up and notable chemical grip in different conditions, as indicated. The shoulder compound is 100% Carbon Black derived from the Diablo Supercorsa SC compounds used in competitions. It supports during bending phases and during acceleration traction.

This new product is launched in the year Pirelli remember his 150 anniversary, becoming an integral part of the celebrations. In 2022, a limited edition of the Diablo Rosso IV Corsa celebrates this milestone and the celebratory logo is visible on the side.

Among the benefits linked to the new tire, we highlight in particular a constant performance over multiple driving sessions, a sensitivity in terms of immediacy and precision at high speeds and high grip at maximum lean angles.
