Pirelli CYCL-e around for companies it is a service consisting of a fleet of e-bikes that companies can make available to employees. Can be used for traveling to work and in your free time.

Information

On the portal of CYCL-e around there are further details. Service CYCL-e around for companies will also be operational from February for Pirelli employees in Milan-Bicocca, by booking the e-bike through a digital platform, then taking the vehicle and returning it to the spaces set up in the Cinturato building, the Pirelli headquarters building with all the services dedicated to employees; spaces dedicated to e-bikes, equipped in collaboration with Bikenomist, a company specialized in consultancy and training on two wheels.

Among the rental methods we highlight: home2work available for collection from 17pm and delivery by 00am the following day; smart e-week possible from Monday to Friday, or weekend breaks through which it is possible to use Pirelli electric bikes in your free time, renting them from 17pm on Friday to 00am on Monday morning, without time or mileage limits, reporting the information.

The project took shape from the success of two pilot initiatives developed by Pirelli and tested during 2020. The first project was RIDE Safe undertaken last May with the ASST Fatebenefratelli, making 14 e-bikes available to the employees of the Vittore Buzzi Children's Hospital and the Fatebenefratelli and Ophthalmic Hospital in Milan for two months. An initiative that took shape during the emergency period and which inspired a second project. At the Pirelli Bicocca headquarters, in June 2020, 10 electric bikes were made available for employees on an experimental basis. The feedback from the initiatives pushed Pirelli to structure and establish a fixed pedal-assisted bike rental service.
The first companies joining the service were Accenture, a global professional services company, then NTT Data EMEA, one of the world leaders in IT services, as indicated.
