Pirelli ANGEL SCOOTER and DIABLO ROSSO SCOOTER – Pirelli presents the new 2017 Scooter Range which involves the introduction on the market, starting from January, of two new products, ANGEL SCOOTER and DIABLO ROSSO SCOOTER which with a wide and complete range of sizes will progressively expand over the next year replace and expand the current offer of the DIABLO SCOOTER model.

ANGEL SCOOTER and DIABLO ROSSO SCOOTER are the direct transposition into the scooter world of two historic families of Pirelli tyres, ANGEL and DIABLO, of which they take up the typical characteristics and distinctive features, addressing types of scooters and users with different needs. ANGEL SCOOTER has a strong family feeling with the ANGEL range, i.e. Pirelli's line of sport touring products, as can also be seen from the tread design which evokes that of the award-winning and appreciated ANGEL GT. This tire presents itself as the guardian angel of urban mobility because it offers excellent driving comfort, handling and wet performance, ideal characteristics for daily use in the urban jungle.

DIABLO ROSSO SCOOTER is inspired by the DNA of the DIABLO family, in particular by the DIABLO ROSSO™ line which represents the supersport range of Pirelli tyres. This tire also derives its tread pattern from another pillar of the Pirelli range, DIABLO ROSSO III, which made its debut this year, immediately garnering the appreciation of many motorcyclists around the world.

Just as DIABLO ROSSO III has redefined the concept of sport riding in the motorcycle world, bringing it to a new level, DIABLO ROSSO SCOOTER represents the new frontier for high performance scooters thanks to grip, unprecedented handling and consistency of performance, characteristics capable of making the most pleasant and satisfying daily driving not only in the city but also in extra-urban use. The new tires from the Pirelli scooter range will make their debut in the company on the occasion of the 74th International Cycle and Motorcycle Exhibition, scheduled from 8 to 13 November 2016, where they can be seen and touched by the public of the Milanese motorcycle event. In fact, they will be the protagonists of a corner (Pavilion 10, stand C61), created in collaboration with the Pirelli Foundation, which traces the history of Pirelli in the world of scooters through images and films of the time with particular attention to the years of the economic boom in Italy.

ANGEL SCOOTER is dedicated to those who use the scooter all year round, in an urban context but also with a passenger. DIABLO ROSSO SCOOTER it will be available starting from January 2017 in ten sizes, six for the 14, 15 and 16 inch front and four for the 13, 14 and 15 inch rear. ANGEL SCOOTER it will be available starting from January 2017 in forty-three sizes of 10, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 inches. Some sizes will be available as early as January 2017 and the range will be complete by the end of next year.
