Piaggio Vietnam wins the 2018 Business Awards

Piaggio Group – An important recognition for the Piaggio Group arrives from Asia. L'EuroCham, that is to say,European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam, he rewarded Piaggio Vietnam Business Awards 2018, in the Business Excellence category.

EuroCham was founded in 1998 and is now one of the leading associations of the Asian business community. Since its creation it has worked to encourage exchanges between the country and Europe and to celebrate 21 years of activity it decided to announce the Business Awards which, as mentioned, was won by Piaggio, to the joy of Gianluca Fiume, President and General Manager of Piaggio Asia Pacific 2 Wheeler: “It is a great honor to be awarded by EuroCham as we celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Piaggio group's presence in Vietnam. In Hanoi we have successfully created the plant for the production of vehicles and engines, and the research and development center, which continuously interfaces with the other R&D of the Piaggio Group around the world. Piaggio Vietnam is the hub for all Asian markets, employs around 900 people, is at the forefront in terms of technological innovation and the business model adopted".
The Piaggio Group is very active in Vietnam and its contribution to two-wheel mobility has always been important, not only with the Piaggio and Vespa brands, but also with other projects. Vesta which will still be the protagonist in the electric version to conquer one of the reference markets in the world in this specific sector.
