EICMA 2017 Piaggio Vespa – On the occasion of the International Cycle and Motorcycle Show, Piaggio brought two new Vespas and two special editions.

Vespa Primavera

What better way to celebrate 50 years of the Vespa Primavera than with a renewed version? Half a century later, it continues to amaze and grow while remaining faithful to the classic style that made it immortal. The most important changes come from the dimensions of the wheels which now have 12" rims. The Primavera is further divided into 3 models: 50th Anniversary, Primavera S and Touring. The first model, offered in 50cc and 125 displacements, stands out for its new Light Blue and Brown colours. The S version adopts totally digital instrumentation, for the first time in the history of the model, and will be produced in the colours: New matte Red, New matte Beige, New matte Blue. The Touring version is inspired by the history of the Vespa and the theme of travel, in fact it features both a front and rear luggage rack. They will be available in 125 and 150cc engines, with the quarter-litre reaching a power of 7,9 kW at 7.700 rpm and a torque of 10,4 Nm at 6.000 rpm, while the 150 reaches 9,5 kW at 7.750 rpm of maximum power and 12,8 Nm at 6.500 rpm of maximum torque.

Vespa Sprint

The sportiest Vespa is renewed, with advanced technical features. The "sports" version also features 12" wheels with aluminum alloy rims. An S version is also launched, even more aggressive and easy to handle and with a few more technological features, such as the TFT multifunction display. Both models will be equipped with 125 and 150cc engines, the same as those mounted on the Primavera version.
