Piaggio MP3: the new models presented in Paris [PHOTO]

Paris it was the venue chosen by Piaggio to present the new one Piaggio MP3, the first three-wheeled scooter in the world, which today arrives with two new 350 and 500 cc engines capable of satisfying the needs of every scooter rider. But that is not all. In the shadow of the Eiffel Tower the Piaggio MP3 500 hpe, the flagship of the family, available in two versions, Sport and Business, with dedicated colors and even richer standard equipment which includes a new saddle, a new backrest, new support handles and a new fairing, more aerodynamic and more protective. All Piaggio MP3s can be driven with a car license only. MP3 has received a wide range of approval thanks to the use of two front wheels which, thanks to the exclusive patented suspension system, combine the safety of a car with the simplicity of a scooter.

Piaggio MP3 350/h2>

The new 350 cc engine offers significantly superior performance to the previous 300 version and this larger version is embellished with finishes that recall those of the Piaggio MP3 500 Sport and are characterized by the presence of numerous details with a matt black finish. Front brake discs with petal profile are standard. The engine of the new version is a technological single-cylinder 350, 4-stroke, 4-valve, with electronic injection and liquid-cooled, with over 30 HP, equipped with an automatic multi-disc clutch in an oil bath.

Piaggio MP3 500 hpe Sport

The Sport version of the Piaggio MP3 500 hpe stands out for its details with a matt black finish, such as the protection of the exhaust terminal, the wheel rims, the profile of the grille on the front shield and the passenger handles. The big news is represented by the pair of high-performance Kayaba rear gas shock absorbers which guarantee more traction, more stability and better comfort. Front brake discs with a daisy profile and a footrest with aluminum inserts are also standard. Both versions of the Piaggio MP3 500 are equipped with multimap "Ride-by-Wire" and powered by a 4-valve, liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with 44,2 HP at the crank which has benefited from interventions to obtain greater performance, reducing the fuel consumption and improving the tone of the exhaust.

The Business version, elegant and metropolitan, stands out for its valuable details, such as the protection of the new exhaust terminal, the chrome profile of the grille on the front shield and the matt gray finishes of the wheel rims and central tunnel. TomTom Vio is standard, the first TomTom navigator dedicated to scooters.

Piaggio MP3 350 and 500: prices

Piaggio MP3 350 is on sale for 8.599 euros, the MP3 500 hpe Business for 10.299 and the MP3 500 hpe Sport for 10.699 euros. All prices are ex dealer and include VAT.
