Piaggio MP3 Life Support: the three-wheeled scooter in the emergency medical version

Three-wheeled scooter introduced Piaggio MP3 Life Support supplied with Italian Red Cross, on the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of National Territorial Emergency Service.

The vehicle

Il Piaggio MP3 Life Support employed by Italian Red Cross It is one of the first applications of this model for emergencies in Italy, thanks to the changes to the Highway Code made in the conversion text to DL121 at the end of 2021, also allowing the use of motor vehicles for primary health emergency services.
Consider the small size and the stability associated with a three-wheeled vehicle like the Piaggio MP3 Life Support, intervention times are more limited, being able to intervene promptly in different situations.

The Piaggio MP3 Life Support model is already used by the national territorial emergency services of several countries, including Australia, France and the United Kingdom, and is used above all in Israel where, in light of the over 650 vehicles available, it constitutes a "flower "flagship" of the emergency fleet.
The equipment of the vehicle includes LED flashing lights and front sirens, highly reflective stickers and an electric telescopic pole with 360° LED flashing light. The presence of the top case and side bags implement the overall load capacity of up to 142 litres, allowing the transport of medical material for pre-hospital first aid including BLS (Basic Life Support) and ALS (Advance Life Support) solutions, cylinders of oxygen, immobilization collars, defibrillators, respiratory kit, infusion set and dressing set.
