Driveable with the driving license B, Piaggio MP3 300 HPE it benefits from the same articulated chassis that also distinguishes the larger displacement versions, i.e. an articulated quadrilateral front suspension solution with double wheel, which allows for consistent stability and footprint on the road. The body appears compact, a factor which would also translate into a lighter weight considering the smaller displacement. Another functional factor when it comes to agility and practicality of use.
The riding position is also crucial, favored by a saddle shaped on two levels which also benefits the support on the ground when standing still (a saddle height indicated 780 millimeters). At the same time, lumbar support is invaluable for drivers. The removable and integrated footrests also facilitate the passenger's seating in the rear area. The technicians also worked on the repositioning of the pedal responsible for combined braking on the right footrest. Then a large compartment under the saddle, whose opening is favored by a spring mechanism, capable of storing a jet helmet and another demi-jet and in the backshield there is a practical and concealable bag hook, as reported.

Design and Technology

There is instrumentation characterized by two classic circular indicators, enriched by a multifunction digital display that provides various indications, such as the numerous ones also indicated by present warning lights, including a battery voltage meter and an odometer with two partials. Also interesting is the placement of a storage compartment above the instruments, which also includes a socket USB. From a technological point of view, different solutions are mentioned such as: a system Three-channel ABS, the peculiar device of front suspension block which allows the vehicle to be static without, for example, having to put your feet on the ground, a ASR traction control and a multimedia platform PIAGGIO MIA (standard on the Sport version, according to indications) which allows connectivity between vehicle and mobile device. There is also a wide range of accessories.
The thrust is provided by a liquid-cooled single-cylinder unit with four-stroke electronic injection and four valves, which compared to the previous one offers a maximum value of 26,2 horses a 7.750 rpm, hence the acronym HPE or High Performance Engine, which represents an increase in 24% of the energy transmitted.
