" he has declared Roberto Colaninno, president and CEO of the Group. "We have the strength of a heritage of great brands, capable of satisfying all segments of the market and also paving the way for new categories, forms and areas of mobility. And by launching the Piaggio Fast Forward program in the 130th year of the Group's life, we have given ourselves the mission of thinking about the future, of designing and creating solutions that are not only of a high stylistic level, but also technologically advanced, aimed at improving both the way where people will move in the future and their quality of life“. Moto Guzzi presents a major expansion of the range for the 95th anniversary. We'll see there Moto Guzzi V9 with the new 850cc V engine with shaft drive, new chassis and design, new segments to which the two versions belong, a V9 Bobber with big tires, light and easy, which looks to the States, and the Roamer, a magnificent medium-sized custom. Then, we will see the MGX-21, a large 1400cc “bagger”, and the new Guzzi V7.

The Piaggio Group has designed some special "Vespa Settantesimo" versions and colors for the seventieth anniversary of Vespa, which are unveiled at EICMA for two of the most recent models, the Primavera and the GTS, but also for an evergreen from Piaggio, the PX, in production since 1977. Furthermore, EICMA is launching the 2016 model year of theAprilia RSV4 RF, which, after having won 7 world titles in Superbike, this year achieved double success in the Riders (with Lorenzo Savadori) and Manufacturers in the Superstock 1000 class. In the scooter field, not only Vespas but also two absolute novelties for the Piaggio brand . After the success of the first generation of Liberty, the Italian brand launches the new generation of its high-wheeled scooter, more current, richer and more refined, with a new range of four-stroke electronic injection engines (Piaggio iGet 50, 125 and 150cc) environmentally friendly and less fuel-hungry, equipped with ABS as standard on the 125 and 150 versions. The second innovation is both product and segment-related. It's called Medley, it's powered by the more powerful and liquid-cooled version of the new Piaggio iGet 125 and 150cc engines, on Medley equipped with a start & stop function. Slightly larger than the Liberty, more compact than the powerful Beverly, Medley is a new segment of the offer that the Piaggio Group offers for a young audience, including men, with a car licence.

Finally, it debuts at EICMA in its standard version, Piaggio Wi-Bike, offered in four different setup steps and entirely designed and built by Piaggio in Italy. Always connected to the world via the web, it is the vehicle for the ecological mobility of the future, connected to the network and smartphones for a very wide range of services and uses, from fitness to vehicle geolocation.
