The robot Trip is made in the new factory in Piaggio Fast Forward in the Charlestown neighborhood of Boston. The marketing, which started last November on online channels, is structured following a first phase which involves the US market, given that the circulation of robots along city streets is already regulated.
This robot is the first innovation project signed by Piaggio Fast Forward (PFF), a company linked to the Piaggio Group (PIA.MI) present in Boston, which is interested in robotics and future mobility. It is a "robot carrier" type "Follow me", capable of carrying objects up to 20 kg of weight and follow the owner inside and outside buildings, reaching a maximum speed of 10 kilometers per hour. The indicated autonomy amounts to 4 hours.
