Aesthetics, chassis and advanced engines characterize the new scooter Piaggio Beverly.

Piaggio Beverly S presents a sportier look with matte finishes in graphite grey, opting between Silver Comet e Black Storm opaque type, in addition to glossy Sunset Orange. There are also dark gray wheels and a new black seat in two materials, as indicated.

Aesthetics

The front has been redefined and from the side the lines are more tense and muscular compared to the more fluid features seen previously, merging towards a rear area that is more stretched upwards. Looking at the new handlebar, a front headlight stands out centrally LED , just as the directional indicators and position lights on the sides of the shield are also LED. Bright details that make the vehicle immediately recognisable. Behind the terminal area of ​​the tail is occupied by an extractor profile which characterizes the area of ​​the rear light cluster, also of the LED type. Also highlighted is a saddle finished with double upholstery and double stitching and a new motorcycle-derived license plate holder. The rims are also new 16 and 14 inches, front and back respectively, with a seven-spoke motif.

Technology and technique

A functional keyless system has been adopted not only during the starting phase, but also in other operations such as engaging the steering lock or opening the saddle and the fuel door. The new engines Euro 5 Family hpe, High Performance Engine, result from 300 cc e 400 cc. These are four-stroke single-cylinder units with four valves and liquid cooling, as well as electronic injection. New creations deriving from the experience of the Piaggio Group's research and development centre, with dedicated interventions to increase performance and refine drivability, also taking into account noise and efficiency.
According to the information, the power of the engine 300hp increases by 23% compared to the previous model of the same cubic capacity. The thrust reaches i 25,8 horses (19 kW) at 8.000 rpm, however the torque peak is 15% higher up to 26 Nm at 6.250 rpm.
A new unit is introduced in place of the previous 350 engine 400hp. A further evolution considering mechanical and thermodynamic efficiency. The push reaches 35,4 horses (26 kW) at 7.500 rpm with a maximum torque of 37,7 Nm at 5.500 rpm. The 400 hpe version is equipped with wider tyres: 120/70 at the front compared to a 110/70 size and 150/70 at the rear compared to a 140/70 example. Tires that transmit greater stability at higher speeds. Furthermore, on the 400 hpe variant there is a standard fairing and a double exhaust terminal.
