Piaggio: 12 new products arriving at EICMA 2017

A shower of new products by Piaggio will enliven the EICMA edition. There are as many as 12 products that the house has decided to display on the occasion of the great Milanese fair. For the 2018 Vespa Primavera it gets even better with a series of updates that increase comfort, safety and renew its style. The most important innovation comes from the size of the wheel rims: made of aluminum alloy and characterized by a new five-spoke design, they are now both 12". Another big new feature at EICMA 2017 is the Vespa Primavera S: in addition to all the new features that enrich the range, the sports version of the most loved Vespa adopts totally digital instrumentation thanks to a 4,3" full color TFT display. Vespa Primavera 50th Anniversary celebrates the first fabulous 50 years of a timeless classic. Offered in the i-get 50 and 125 engines, it stands out for the new Light Blue and Brown colors with coordinated saddle, for the elegant gray finish of the five-spoke wheels and of course for the logo that elegantly marks the back of the shield.

For the 2018 Vespa Sprint welcomes a series of stylistic and technical evolutions. Active safety increases thanks to the LED lighting technology now adopted by both the front headlight and the rear lights and the Bike Finder and remote saddle opening control become standard.

A new Moto Guzzi engine makes its debut on the Concept V85. The construction scheme is the proprietary and exclusive one of all Moto Guzzis in current production: it is in fact an air-cooled 90° transverse V-twin of 850 cc which, thanks to the complete redesign, expresses 80 HP of maximum power, a value which, combined with the powerful low-rpm torque typical of all Moto Guzzi twin-cylinder engines and the lightness of the Concept V85, make for fun when riding on and off-road.

The family grows V7III with the new special versions Carbon, Rough e Milano, Moto Guzzi's homage to the art of customization. They are characterized by the different set-up, obtained by introducing with originality and competence a series of precious special parts, capable of giving each motorcycle a very different connotation and a unique character. V7 III Carbon (in a limited and numbered edition) celebrates customization, interpreted with originality and good taste, combining the authentic style of V7 with the high-quality and modern quality of numerous carbon fiber components, as well as numerous further contrasting red details , like the engine heads, the stitching of the new seat in water-repellent Alcantara and the front Brembo brake caliper. V7 III Rough stands out for its knobby tires shod on spoked rims and for the many details that give V7 III Rough a country town style. The equipment is completed by the dedicated saddle with stitching and grab strap for the passenger and by the pair of aluminum side panels. V7 III Milano stands out for its extremely refined style and superior equipment which includes double circular dial instruments, chrome exhausts and passenger grab handle. V9 Roamer turns its attention even more to long distances by introducing a new protective screen. V9 Bobber instead it gains new opaque graphics and is available in three color variants: Blue Impeto, Nero Notte and Grigio Tempesta.

Two new versions of the original and most popular three-wheeled scooter are arriving: more performance and more comfort, with improved design and finishes. The program expands with the introduction of a kit also for the Aprilia RSV4 capable of maximizing engine performance, reducing overall weight and improving aerodynamics. They are both equipped with a refined 125 cc single-cylinder engine, an engine with which Aprilia has managed to further refine the four-stroke engine, bringing it within the strict Euro 4 regulations without penalizing performance or riding pleasure. Great efficiency, greater safety, RX and SX are equipped with advanced suspensions and a new top-level braking system equipped with ABS with anti-roll-over, which guarantees precision and total control in braking and regulates the lifting of the rear wheel during more decisive braking .
