Peugeot Scooters and Dainese – On the occasion of the EICMA 2014, currently taking place in Milan, the two premium brands Peugeot Scooters and Dainese have decided to unite by presenting as a world premiere, at the Peugeot stand, the Metropolis scooter equipped with the Dainese D-air Street after-market.

The partnership between Dainese and Peugeot Scooters aims to safety of motorcyclists, guaranteed by a cutting-edge three-wheeled scooter such as the Metropolis and by the maximum level of protection of the D-air Street, the wireless airbag produced by Dainese which activates in 45 milliseconds through an algorithm that identifies and recognizes accident situations, which has passed the severe certification tests of the German body TÜV Süd and has obtained 5 stars from the French body SRA (Sécurité et Réparation Automobile).

Eric Mougin, marketing and style director of Peugeot Scooters, underlined how it is a collaboration born between two brands, Dainese and Peugeot Scooters, which share the same values ​​and have a similar market positioning in terms of excellence and technological innovation. “Peugeot Metropolis D-Air represents the perfect combination to meet the safety expectations of our most demanding customers”, he said on the sidelines of the presentation at the Milanese event.
