Pedrosa, Rossi and Abraham: the prospects for the 2012 MotoGP

The impressions from the latest tests carried out with Honda on the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia were "quite" positive, "especially because the lap times were good and we are on the right path to get a competitive bike next season". But this is just the beginning: “There is no doubt that we will have to continue working to improve it.”
What to expect from the new one Honda RC213V 1000cc? Certainly a lot of competitiveness. Something more will be known starting from the tests in Malaysia scheduled for the end of January: "The objective is to continue to develop the bike." However, “until then I want to rest and recover some strength, there will also be time to prepare physically if we want to be ready for the pre-season and the start of the World Championship. This is why it is very important to have the objective of doing well in this type of test, as happened last week in Valencia, and to be able to continue working with the same confidence in preparation for the 2012 season. We hope to start the pre-season on a competitive bike, as also happened in the season just ended."
The first images emerge from the Ducati garage at the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia new 46 by Valentino Rossi. In light of the experience of a year of racing in MotoGP, will the bike be ready to play a leading role in 2012? Will he be able to climb some positions in the rankings? The one who promises battle on the two-wheelers of the Borgo Panigale company is the Czech rider Karel Abraham. He rode in Valencia with the new Ducati 1000cc a tenth slower than Rossi himself: “I'm satisfied with how I ended my first season in the premier class and we're looking forward to the winter break.”
