With the advent of 2018, the brand of the three tuning forks presents the latest arrival for the Adventure and Off-road world at the Milanese event: the new Yamaha XT1200ZE Super Ténéré Raid Edition MY 2018. Always considered a cornerstone of the category and an undisputed point of reference for its robustness and reliability, it now receives a significant restyling which updates its aesthetics and equipment to make Yamaha's offer more current and certainly more in step with the times. It also inherits many of the components and solutions adopted with the Tenere 700 World Raid prototype, also on display at Eicma 2017.

Pushed by a 1.1192 cc twin-cylinder extraordinarily spirited and reliable, with a 270° timing that delivers a full-bodied torque for a low-fatigue ride, Super Ténéré is the definitive vehicle chosen by professionals of long-distance adventures such as the famous English explorer/motorcyclist Nick Sanders. It offers a series of features such as the cardan shaft, now a must in the segment or electronically adjustable suspension, 23 liter tank, adjustable saddle and windshield, integrated braking and advanced electronic management technologies such as TCS, Cruise Control and D-MODE guarantee its character exceptional. It is also configured as the most advanced Adventure section model ever and with the highest displacement among the competition.

It appears equipped with comforts 37 liter aluminum side bags, for a total capacity of approximately 74 litres, so you can immediately embark on any journey you want. Completely redesigned, the high quality aluminum side bags, robust and lightweight, have been designed to accommodate the extra luggage to be transported, thus increasing the load capacity; their extraordinary durability is also guaranteed by the creation of corners in technopolymers, capable of cushioning and absorbing any type of impact, possibly even due to some unpleasant fall.

From the World Raid prototype it inherits above all the front, aggressive and in pure Rally style, with a high and adjustable windshield, which protects from aerodynamic flows together with the help of comfortable deflectors. Also in the snout we also find a four-point projector which ensures record lighting also thanks to the use of additional projectors. The lower part is also protected with a reinforced aluminum plate to not fear even the most demanding excursions and to properly protect the engine base. The characteristic and aggressive Adventure liveries stand out on the sides, accentuating its sporty and off-road soul, together with the unique carbon side panels. XT1200ZE Super Ténéré Raid Edition will be available in all Official Yamaha Dealers, starting March 2018, in Yamaha Blue and Tech Black colors, both with Raid Edition graphics.
