New BMW C evolution, increased autonomy and continuous power [MEGA GALLERY]

In the future it will be offered in two versions

BMW C evolution – With the debut of the new BMW C evolution, which in the future will be offered in two versions, Long Range and the European version which will allow it to be driven with an A1 licence, BMW Motorrad once again raises the benchmark in the electric scooter segment.

In fact, the new generation of batteries with a cell capacity of 94 Ah, also fitted in the current BMW i3, offers a significant increase in autonomy. The standard equipment now includes a new charging cable with a reduced section. New options, for example the smartphone holder, create further possibilities for personalizing the new BMW C evolution. In the new C evolution Long Range the continuous power is 19 kW (26 HP), therefore it has increased by 8 kW (11 HP) compared to the previous model; the range has been extended to around 160 kilometres. The maximum speed is 129 km/h (electronically limited). In the version approved for driving with an A1 license (available only in Europe) the new C evolution has a power of 11 kW (15 HP). The autonomy is approximately 100 kilometers while the maximum speed reaches 120 km/h.

The new BMW C evolution is also more sophisticated on an aesthetic level. Both versions of the new C evolution are available in the color combination ionic silver metallic / electric green, completed by the contrasting color blackstorm metallic. Furthermore, the fairings of the central tunnel of the Long Range variant have been re-evaluated with new graphics. To date, the C evolution has been available in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Portugal, Ireland and China. It will now also be introduced in the United States, Japan, South Korea and Russia.
