New Suzuki GSX-R600 and Suzuki GSX-R750
As we anticipated, together with the presentation of the official teaser, the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Suzuki showed, at the Intermot Show in Cologne, Germany, the renewed versions of the Suzuki GSX-R600 and Suzuki GSX-R750, the two smaller faired dimensions in the range of super sports cars from the Japanese brand. What changes? Let's see it together.
First of all, the line is brought closer to that of the larger Suzuki GSX-R1000, with the headlight much less compressed and segmented than today's generation and with greater relaxation and roundness. Conversely, the pigtail appears almost slightly more compressed and reduced. It matters little: the most significant changes are found under the fairing of the 600 Suzuki GSX-R2011 and 750 Suzuki GSX-R2011.
The engine remains the same for both new Suzuki GSX-Rs and even the power output: 599 cubic centimeters four-cylinder and four-stroke the first (R600), capable of delivering 125 horsepower and 68,6 Nm of maximum torque, 750 centimeters cubic four-cylinder and four-stroke the second (R750), capable of delivering 150 horsepower and 86,3 Nm of torque.
The manufacturer, in fact, worked to reduce the maximum weight, managing to remove around nine kilograms from the overall value, acting on the chassis, engine and exhaust system. Result? The new 600 Suzuki GSX-R2011 weighs 187 kilograms and the new 750 Suzuki GSX-R2011 weighs 188 kilograms. Another important innovation is the braking system, which is made up of fully floating 310 mm front discs with four-piston Brembo radial calipers and renewed Nissin rear calipers.
