New Triumph Tiger 1200: a look at the pre-production prototype at EICMA 2021 [LIVE PHOTOS]

A preview presence

After a few shots and a series of videos proposed by Official Triumph Motorcycles on YouTube, on the occasion of the 78th edition of EICMA you can observe the pre-production prototype of the new Triumph Tiger 1200.

Gritty soul

In the videos we admired the prototype in motion and in different contexts. What emerged was a marked liveliness and functional versatility, on paths immersed in nature or on asphalt roads. A strong and proactive character. The expert Ricky Carmichael also rode the prototype.
According to initial indications, it promises to be a more compact model with a low weight, agile and easy to handle. A motorcycle entirely redefined, based on what has emerged at the moment, powered by a three-cylinder engine.

On the occasion of the exhibition at Fiera Milano – Rho there are also other interesting signed examples Triumph, like the new and bold one Speed Triple 1200RR and the compact and versatile Tiger Sport 660.
The first is an elegant sports car equipped with a 1.160 cc three-cylinder engine. Power reaches 180 horsepower at 10.750 rpm and the peak torque is 125 Nm at 9.000 rpm. The second is a dual sport equipped with a 660 cc three-cylinder engine, also in this case Euro 5 approved, with a ride-by-wire accelerator and an optimized 6-speed gearbox. Maximum power reaches 81 horsepower at 10.250 rpm, while peak torque reaches 64 Nm at 6.250 rpm. We also highlight a depowering kit for holders of an A2 license and full power reversible.
