With 95 HP engine, high-level chassis and equipment
The new Triumph Daytona 660 just unveiled, it brings back to the market an iconic brand loved by motorcyclists who love medium-sized sports bikes.
Equipped with 660 cc three-cylinder engine and characterized by a driving approach focused on the road and on maximizing driving fun, the 660 Triumph Daytona 2024 has an engine that delivers 95 CV of power e 69 Nm of maximum torque, promising smooth, reactive and linear delivery, thanks to the six-speed gearbox and the electro-assisted clutch. In addition to delivering 17% more power and 9% more torque than its Trident and Tiger Sport 660 sisters, the Daytona 660 is also equipped with a new exhaust system which gives life to an unmistakable sound.
Top technical equipment
The new Triumph Daytona 660 has a sports chassis that ensures high performance combined with riding comfort suitable for daily use, thanks to superior level equipment which includes the 41 mm Showa upside-down fork and the Showa monoshock with adjustable preload at rear. The bike also features brakes with 4-piston radial calipers with double 310 mm discs and high-performance braided hoses combined with the new Michelin Power 6 tyres.
Agile, safe and comfortable
With a seat height of 810 mm, a compact central section of the frame and the ergonomic position of the handlebars and footrests, the Daytona 660 promises an exciting and at the same time safe ride. To ensure a total feeling of control, Triumph's new motorcycle features a technology package with three riding modes (Sport, Road and Rain) which adjust throttle and traction control based on driving conditions and grip. Furthermore, the bike features the new system Emergency Deceleration Warning which activates the rear emergency lights to alert other road users in the event of sudden braking.
Sporty look
From an aesthetic point of view, the DNA type of the Daytona design has been rethought with aggressive and clean lines, in Triumph style. The dual LED headlights that integrate a central air intake stand out, while the sporty look is accentuated by the minimal superstructures and the contoured LED rear light.
Three colours, also for driving with an A2 licence
The Triumph Daytona 660 will be offered in three colors: Snowdonia White, Satin Granite and Carnival Red, all characterized by graphics inspired by the world of competitions. There are over 30 original Triumph accessories available, among which there is also a kit for depowering which allows you to drive the motorbike with an A2 licence, with a dedicated throttle control and engine tuning that limits power to 35 kW.
It arrives in spring, but can already be ordered
The Daytona 660, for which Triumph offers a 16.000km service interval and a two-year unlimited mileage warranty, will be available starting from spring 2024. The motorbike, whose price for the Italian market will be announced shortly, can already be pre-ordered at the dealership.
