New Triumph Bobber TFC: another exclusive creation by Triumph Factory Custom [PHOTO]

Presented at EICMA 2019

Third creation in a limited series and signed TFC, linked to the British brand

The overview Triumph Factory Custom also includes the specimen bobber, shown on the occasion of EICMA 2019. A new limited series edition equipped with fine finishes, dedicated technical features and powered by a high-performance engine 1.200 cc, as well as innovative technological solutions.

Features

Solo 750 numbered copies, marked by a small plate on the steering yoke, tending to be exclusive over time “modern classic”. Among the aspects highlighted are also the details of the gold-coloured instrumentation.
This new model marked TFC is also accompanied by a personalized letter signed by CEO di Triumph Nick Bloor and addressed to each owner, together with a book documenting the manufacturing phases, a motorcycle cover and a document holder together with a leather backpack, always signed TFC as indicated.
The appearance is distinguishable by the use of carbon fiber for the side panels and the front mudguard, in addition to the peculiar clip-on semi-handlebar. Also interesting are the aforementioned steering plate machined from solid and always signed TFC, the knurled handlebar grips, the streamlined tail, the machine-made aluminum oil cap and the leather saddle. There is no shortage of distinctive features typical of the model: “the battery cover with stainless steel strap, the rear wheel arch, the ignition switch located under the tank on the right side, bar-end mirrors and lockable fuel cap.” There are several dark details from the monoshock spring to the crankcase, to the frame as well as the chassis, up to the spoked rims, combined with a color composed of Carbon Black e Matt Carbon Black, as well as decals, details in the aforementioned gold tint and the presence of an iconic Union Jack Silver.

Different technological solutions

The specimen has type lights LED e DRL at the front, with multifunction rear indicators that include stop and position light. The instrumentation features a dial with initials TFC and various information displayed via a digital menu, which can be consulted via a control located on the handlebar, as indicated.
Along with the modalities Rain e Road There is also a programme Sport, called up via the system ride-by-wire of new generation. Also mentioned ABS e traction control integrated, as well as refinement interventions on the torque-assisted clutch and an immobilizer with the transponder linked to the new key with detail of the triangular logo in gold colour, always following the instructions provided.

Engine and chassis

One indicated power increased by 10 horsepower, i.e. 13% more in comparison with the specimens bobber e Bobber Black. A fried result of the alchemy between lightweight components and targeted interventions on the HT engine, including: “low inertia crankshaft, clutch, balancer shafts, rare earth alternator, magnesium timing cover, thin engine cases and exhaust manifolds”. The maximum torque at altitude is also higher 110 Nm, 4 Nm more in the same comparison. The speed has also been increased by 500 rpm. The limiter is now at 7.500 rpm, as highlighted. Suspensions were also reported Öhlins adjustable, braking system Brembo with M50 monobloc 4-piston radial calipers and dual floating discs, radial master cylinder and MCS adjustable brake lever, then a dedicated Arrow exhaust with titanium silencers and carbon fiber end cap.
