New Suzuki GSX-R750Z, traditionally Gixxer

It remains faithful to the 750cc, no upheavals, and new red/black livery

The Suzuki GSX-R750 tradition was born in 1985, marking the entire course of road sports cars derived directly from competitions: faithful to its history, which places it as the ideal meeting point between extreme performance and agility, the "settemmezzo" Suzuki has been able to renew itself over the years to the point of today representing the state of the art for riders who demand absolute driving pleasure. The new GSX-R750Z was born this way, to further enrich the exclusivity of this model, embellished with details and finishes capable of winning the attention of the most demanding enthusiasts.

Proposed in the livery two-tone Red/Black, the new GSX-R750Z adopts radial-type monobloc front brake calipers branded Brembo for maximum racing extraction, which work with a double 310 mm floating front disc brake. Red color also for the adhesive "stripping" finishing the light alloy wheel rims, the upper fork caps and the fork adjustment adjusters. The saddle also takes on the same color, blending into a whole that involves the entire upper section of the fairing. The GSX-R750Z is embellished with anodized fork sliders gold colour, and the same finish for the massive steering pin nut and chain tensioner located at the ends of the aluminum swingarm. The Suzuki logo is also new, with the famous "S" now showing a refined three-dimensional design and which is placed on the fuel tank and on the upper steering plate.

The giap technique of this model remains unchanged. The engine is the most advanced four cylinders in line 750 cm³ forward-facing, with bore and stroke measurements (70,0 x 48,7 mm) adopted to obtain the best efficiency combined with absolute reference performance. The maximum power is 150 HP at 13.000 rpm, with a torque value of 86,3 Nm at 11.200 rpm. The powerplant uses lightweight forged aluminum pistons and shot-peened chromium nitride connecting rods with pentagonal ventilation holes on the cylinders. Distribution is entrusted to a double overhead camshaft titanium valves they are controlled by a single return spring in order to minimize mechanical losses.

The injection double throttle electronics (SDTV) uses 8-hole injectors for optimal fuel atomization. The electronic management confirms the two adjustable mappings (S-DMS) via the control on the left handlebar. The stainless steel exhaust system uses a 4-in-1 configuration, with a titanium silencer; the optimization of the engine torque is entrusted to an exhaust valve (SET), responsible for managing above all the low rotation speeds. The clutch uses a anti-skipping system also developed in competitions.

The frame is made of aluminium, very light and compact, boasts a double beam shape, and is combined with a light alloy swingarm obtained by casting. The fork is Showa Big Piston (BPF), fully adjustable. The same adjustment possibilities are offered by the Showa rear shock absorber, which also includes compression adjustment for high and low speeds. The standard equipment also includes an electronically controlled steering damper. To improve ergonomics are available three adjustments for the positioning of the footrests and the multiple adjustment possibilities for the handlebar controls.

The new Suzuki GSX-R750Z will be available from the end of the month to 12.900 €.
