New Ducati SuperSport, fun and comfort even in everyday riding [PHOTO]

Ducati Super Sport – Ducati has unveiled the first of a series of innovations planned for 2017. During the first day of Intermot, dedicated to the press, the CEO Claudio Domenicali presented the new Ducati SuperSport.

"I am particularly proud to open the series of new Ducati 2017 products with the SuperSport", said CEO Claudio Domenicali during the unveil of the new bike. “After sharing the preview with the Ducati people during WDW 2016, we are ready to offer this innovation to the many enthusiasts who have been waiting for a sports bike capable of guaranteeing fun and comfort even in everyday riding. The more experienced rider will appreciate the SuperSport's character as a true Ducati sports car, its road performance, its suitability for travel and daily use. Those approaching the world of Ducati sports cars for the first time will discover their versatility, ease of control, but above all the essence of sports riding according to Ducati". Domenicali then previewed EICMA 2016. "Next month, during the Ducati World Première, scheduled for Monday 7 November and visible in live-streaming all over the world, the other new bikes that Ducati is offering for next year will be revealed, completing the range and, we are sure, creating many of the desires of our Community and of those who, thanks also to the new proposals, will soon become part of it".

The Ducati SuperSport is designed for those who love a sport-inspired motorcycle, but capable of offering comfort and ease of use on everyday roads. A fun, versatile and accessible motorbike, with the look and soul of a true Ducati sports car. An accessible road sports car thanks to its ease of riding, the active safety offered by the Ducati Safety Pack (Bosch ABS + Ducati Traction Control) and the high value of its equipment, in relation to the price, combined with long maintenance intervals.

The SuperSport, which delivers 113 HP and a full and linear torque curve. Thanks to the three Riding Modes (Sport, Touring and Urban), the character of the SuperSport adapts to offer maximum fun in all conditions. Agile in the city, comfortable on the motorway and effective around the curves of outdoor routes, the SuperSport is definitely a versatile motorbike. The comfortable riding position for rider and passenger, the aerodynamic protection ensured by the height-adjustable plexiglass and the good autonomy guaranteed by the 16-litre tank also make the new Ducati sports car a fun travel companion on medium-length journeys.

The SuperSport range also includes the SuperSport S version, equipped with fully adjustable Öhlins suspension, Ducati Quick Shift up/down and passenger seat cover. The latter contents are however also available, as accessories, for the SuperSport.
