New Ducati Diavel – The New Ducati Diavel once again showed off itself during the testing phase. The new model from the Borgo Panigale brand was spotted this time in Germany. This new spy photo, which comes from colleagues at Visordown.com, shows us a Ducati Diavel MY 2016 more clearly than what we were able to admire in the month of August.

The most notable changes are the move to a belt drive, accompanied by a new swingarm, covered in what looks like Gaffa tape. The horizontal rear shock absorber has been reset, moving from its lowered position under the exhaust to under the saddle. Like the current Diavel, this new bike is using Marzocchi forks, although its parent company, Tenneco, is expected to suspend production by the end of 2015. Ohlins already offers its forks to Diavel, so It shouldn't surprise us if we were to see the new Ducati Diavel leaving the showrooms with those of the Swedish brand. The tank of the new Ducati Diavel appears to have been reshaped to be thinner and shorter than that of the current version.

Finally, the new Ducati Diavel could see the light of production without the side air intakes of the current model. The current engine, a Testastretta 11° V-Twin capable of delivering 162 horsepower and 130,5 Nm of torque, will be changed to increase comfort especially for those who love to travel for many days. The debut is scheduled for the end of 2016, with production starting at the beginning of 2017, but EICMA is approaching so surprises are always lurking.
