New Ducati Diavel, EICMA is very close [PHOTO]

New Ducati Diavel – These spy photos show what should be the new Ducati Diavel. The footpegs have been placed further forward, the 1198cc V-twin engine is more visible and those giant exhausts have been "amputated".

There is definitely something of the Harley-Davidson V-Rod in this new Diavel and perhaps this is the inspiration that led to the introduction of a belt drive, which can be easily noticed in the photo below. The muscular one Ducati diavel it has been slimmed down and doesn't appear to have the "heavy front" of its predecessor, so the lines are much cleaner. Furthermore, the engine has been better positioned in the center of the bike with less fairing.

The new Ducati diavel it is lower than before and the footpegs are further forward, which offers the traditional cruiser posture. It is likely that the engine will be the DVT of the Multistrada 1200 and, therefore, the presence of independent control of the intake and exhaust cams, which significantly optimizes performance. Although it is not "dressed up" to be presented to the general public, the new Ducati Diavel looks ready to be a production model already, which we expect to see at EICMA this November. And then the matte black of this test mule doesn't look that bad.
