The latest generation models branded NIU

Three electric scooters and a bicycle, also electric, are the new models presented by NIU. A reality committed to “smart urban mobility”.

The new electric bicycle NIU Aero EB-01 It features removable 48 V 21 Ah lithium ion batteries that can be recharged in 4-5 hours, taking the indicated data. Introduced as a highly efficient vehicle, the propulsion part was developed in collaboration with Bafang and Shimano. In the European context, the provision of a 250 W Bafang electric unit is envisaged, reaching 25 km/h according to estimates, as well as an autonomy that could vary between 60 and 150 km. While in the US market the Bafang electric motor is 500 W translated into 45 km/h of maximum speed and a range of 60-100 km without pedalling, according to the proposed estimates. In the various European markets, a complete two-year warranty is also provided for the motor, battery and IOT, still reporting the indications.
Moving on to e-scooters, those signed NIU are equipped with a prepaid Vodafone SIM allowing a 24/7 connection to theNIU app, which offers: "real-time information such as GPS position, anti-theft geo-localization, remote tracking, remote diagnostics and online assistance", as indicated. Driving data is anonymized. The NIU scooters, considering the constant and sudden innovation, are made in partnership with Bosch, Panasonic and Vodafone.
The new MQiGT extension it represents a more powerful and redefined example of the Mqi+ model, being able to also accommodate a passenger and is powered by a 3 kW Bosch engine reaching 70 km per hour (in the approval phase, as underlined). Ranges of autonomy are estimated which may vary: 55, 95 or 135 km (always in the approval phase), compared to the maximum speed of 70, 45 or 25 km/h, as reported.
The new one was also presented NQiGTs Pro, tied to NIU's NQi Series and aimed at suburban commuters. Among the features are two 60 V 35 Ah batteries supplied that power a 3 kW engine and 14-inch wheels. Maximum speed estimated at up to 70 km/h (in the approval phase) and autonomy that can vary from 70 to 100 or 150 km, respectively based on the speeds 70, 45 and 25 km/h. Estimated data always in the approval phase, reporting the indications.
Finally the new UQiGT Pro, connected to the UQi Series, distinguishable by its essential but also refined design and characterized by a light and functional frame for short-range travel. Power is provided by a 1.200 W Bosch electric thruster, which allows a thrust of up to 45 km/h and a range per charge of 50 km at 45 km/h or 85 km at 25 km/h, according to estimated values.
