New Yamaha Yard Built XV950 “SON OF TIME” by Numbnut Motorcycles – Thanks to Yamaha's Yard Built project, based on collaborations with the most famous international customization workshops, Special lovers from all over the world have witnessed the birth of extraordinary vehicles based on the Japanese Sports Heritage in recent years.

The Iwata company recently decided to once again involve Numbnut Motorcycles, a well-known bike-maker based in Amsterdam, to create a new Special based on the XV950 V-twin. For this occasion, Numbnut Motorcycles decided to surprise everyone by collaborating with the well-known Dutch watch manufacturers TW Steel. The project, original and with a Racing spirit, combines the worlds of classy watchmaking and artisanal motorcycling. The truly incredible result takes the emblematic name of 'Son of Time'.

With the aim of obtaining more straight-line speed, the chassis was cut and lengthened, giving up many standard components with the exception of the original, torque-rich engine. A series of unique pieces, created by hand, define its exceptional Racing character. Tailored engine cover, air intakes, seat and tank confirm that this Yard Built was born for high speeds, thus winking at its spiritual brother: the 'Son of Time' watch by TW Steel. The Nozem exhaust guarantees the right growling soundtrack, while the magnificent and light Dymag carbon rims reduce the weight of the vehicle, consequently also increasing its power.

The New Yamaha Yard Built always has the situation under control. Power and stability are also guaranteed by the suspension. PFor this fundamental component, Roderick turned to K-Tech choosing to use the fork and shock absorber kit, both adjustable. Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa tires ensure an excellent level of traction. The list of high-quality components, both by Dynojet, is completed by the Power Commander electronic control unit which allows injection adjustment to obtain maximum engine performance regardless of the throttle opening, and the Quickshifter electronic gearbox. The rev counter by Motogadget Pro and the LED headlight designed by Baja finally identify the true sports line of this incredible vehicle.
