Introduced 3 years ago, the Tracer 900 was one of the best-selling models of the tuning fork house, with over 35 thousand units sold thanks to its easy handling and liveliness due to the surprising CP3 engine.

Strengthened by an appreciated and successful product, the work of the Japanese engineers was limited to perfecting some details to make the new Sport Tourer perfect from all points of view. Many small improvements especially aimed at comfort in the saddle for the rider and passenger, which they can now boast more ergonomic platforms and seats, in line with a new Height adjustable windshield, specifically designed to allow air flows to flow as best as possible, without compromising the aerodynamics of the motorbike. The result is a substantial improvement for the benefit of long motorway journeys and beyond. The style is enhanced with new air intakes placed on the tank and redesigned side panels to ensure a more modern and current look. For 2018, Tracer 900 is equipped with a new aluminum swingarm lengthened to ensure more efficient traction, while the calibration of the mono shock absorber has been revised to further increase the touring performance of the vehicle, with the possibility of fitting Original Yamaha rigid side bags. The handlebar has smaller dimensions which allow you to keep your hands out of the air flows, as well as ensuring greater maneuverability in urban traffic. The great technology available to Yamaha allows the traction control to be adjusted in 3 modes depending on needs and driving styles, which best bring out the potential of the lively liquid-cooled 3-cylinder 3-valve CP12 engine. Tracer 900 My 2018 will be available from March 2018 in Yamaha dealers in two colors: Nimbus Gray and Tech Black.

To accommodate any type of need for travelers and others, Yamaha has prepared a new set of suspensions with cutting-edge and adjustable forks, to modify the behavior of the motorbike based on the load and passengers, as well as the route to be tackled. To easily calibrate the suspension when carrying passengers or luggage, the Tracer 900 GT is equipped with a shock absorber with remote spring preload adjustment, useful for quick and immediate adjustment based on driving conditions. For those who also seek thrills and thrills while driving, the system Quick shift system (QSS) ensures lightning-fast and immediate gear changes without using the clutch, inheriting the mechanism from the sportier MT-09. For lovers of long journeys, the presence of the Cruise Control as standard, which significantly reduces the rider's tiredness by setting a cruising speed that will be maintained automatically, easily activated with the small lever located on the left of the handlebar and deactivated when the brake or clutch is pressed.
