The first Moto Scrambler&Special Off-Road Trophy is born

On the weekend of June 23rd and 24th the Off-Road Moto Scrambler&Special Trophy. A new competition, of an amateur nature, aimed at owners of this type of motorbike organized by Mirco Urbinati, in collaboration with the IMF.

There are three appointments on the calendar: June 23-24 Farini (PC) with the organization of Moto Club Chieve, 14 – 15 July scandiano (RE) with the organization of Motorcycle Club local and November 3-4th Santa Luce (PI) with the organization of MC Sbm. The objective of the Trophy is to conquer a new type of public, who want to enjoy the beauty (landscape and cultural) of the places crossed and experience an extra emotion: reading their name on a ranking. The types of motorbikes allowed to participate are: scrambler, Special e Old Style. Drivers born up to 2000 with an Elite, Off-Road or Amateur License can participate in the Trophy or individual races. Frank Gualdi, Coordinator of the FMI Enduro Committee, expressed himself thus on this new initiative: “With this competition we want to make a certain type of competition accessible to all fans. These are events with limited competitive content, in which the pilots will face Special and in some cases skill tests at the end of which a ranking will be drawn up. The Trophy represents something new in our panorama and is dedicated to those who want to put themselves to the test without having to participate in highly competitive races“. She echoes him Mirco Urbinati, Trophy organizer: “The Scrambler and Special Motorcycle Trophy takes place in a motorcycling context that has undergone an important evolution in recent years: the desire to travel off road and discover new horizons is now very strong even with road-derived enduro motorbikes. The Trophy will have a competitive content because for each test a ranking will be drawn up but the dominant will be being together, opening your eyes to new horizons to discover thanks to the places that will host the tests, selected to give participants the right emotions of adventure and discovery. The objective for 2018 is to draw attention to the Trophy in order to be able to build a series of traveling events throughout Italy in the short future.".
