In addition to the particular concept 921 S, MV Augusta debuted ad EICMA 2022 of Milan with two new adventure bikes called MV Agusta Lucky Explorer 9.5 e Lucky Explorer 5.5. It comes with a counter-rotating crankshaft and a 6-speed gearbox. This powertrain reportedly delivers 122 HP of power at 10.000 rpm and 102 Nm of maximum torque at 7000 rpm.

La new MV Augusta Lucky Explorer 9.5 offers three driving modes to choose from: urban, touring and off-road. As standard, the motorcycle comes with an inertial measurement unit that controls Continental's ABS.

The latter adjusts automatically based on the set driving mode or alternatively can be deactivated completely or set only on the rear wheel. There is also a 7-inch display and Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity that allow you to communicate with the MV Ride app, which allows you to access a series of features.

The Lucky Explorer 9.5 boasts 21" front and 18" rear wheels, with spoked rims and tubeless tyres. There is no shortage of 48 mm upside-down suspension, fully adjustable Sachs forks with 220 mm travel and Sachs monoshock with rebound, compression and preload adjustment and 210 mm travel. The height from the ground is equal to 230 mm while the dry weight is 220 kg.

The Lucky Explorer 5.5 was made with Qianjiang

Moving on to MV Augusta Lucky Explorer 5.5, was created in collaboration with Qianjiang, owner of Benelli and QJMotor. It is powered by a 550cc parallel twin engine derived from that of the Benelli TRK 502. The engine has been modified to deliver 47 HP at 7500 rpm and 51 Nm at 5500 rpm.

The Lucky Explorer 5.5 also offers a dry weight of 220 kg while the suspensions are supplied by KYB and boast a 43 mm fork with the possibility of adjusting the rebound and preload and a fully adjustable monoshock. Both new MV Agusta models are expected to arrive in Europe around March or April 2023.
