MV Agusta Superveloce Alpine: 110 examples and a racing soul

MV Agusta and Alpine join forces to create a limited edition of the Superveloce 800: all the details on the engine, performance, price, technical characteristics

The new MV Agusta Superveloce Alpine has been revealed, a limited edition of 110 units. All the details on the exclusive Italian-French three-cylinder

What do they have in common MV Agusta, manufacturer of iconic Italian motorcycles, e Alpine, famous French sports car manufacturer? Certainly the style, a perfect mix of elegance and sportiness, the exciting performances and a past of success in competitions. From today, however, the two houses are also linked by an exclusive project: we are talking about the MV Agusta Superveloce Alpine, limited edition of Schiranna's retro super sports car.

The motorbike, inspired by the Alpine A110 and created by the Monaco Design Studio (MV Agusta “tailor-made” division), will be produced in just 110 numbered units and equipped with a series of specific features: from the photos we can see the unprecedented two-tone blue / silver livery, with distinctive elements such as the Alpine logos on the fairings and tank cap strap, the Alcantara saddle and numerous carbon fiber accessories.

Engine, performance and technology

The engine is the same 3 cylinders in line of the "basic" version, capable of dispensing 147 CV at 13.000 rpm, for one maximum speed exceeding 240 km/h. High performance (also thanks to dry weight of only 173 kg) combined with great ease of driving make the Superveloce Alpine similar to the sports car from which it derives, the A110.

Regarding electronics, we find the introduction of ABS cornering, anti-lifting system of the rear wheel when braking and an innovative anti-wheelie system. A new one completes the package Cornering type Slip Control (a traction control that also acts based on the lean angle) and the new one Launch Control, a typical feature of supercars, confirming the affinity with its four-wheeled "sister" A110.
Great work has also been done on the connectivity front: the new Superveloce features a Bluetooth connection and compatibility with theMV Ride app. This will allow the pilot to monitor, even remotely, parameters such as the ECU mapping and the real-time position of your motorbike. In fact, every Alpine Superveloce will be equipped with geolocation.

Price

The new Alpine Superveloce will have a price starting price of 36.300 euros (for the Italian market) including the Racing Kit.
