MV Agusta Superveloce Ago: a special dedication to a legendary champion at EICMA 2021 [LIVE PHOTOS]

La MV Agusta Superveloce Ago it is an exclusive proposal made in 311 examples, the same number of race victories as the great Giacomo Agostini. Of these, the first 15 are dedicated to the titles won by the famous champion. A motorbike admired at the 78th edition of EICMA, The International Two Wheel Exhibition.

The motorcycle

A sports car with retro lines that features technological solutions and a trellis frame made of steel tubes and aluminum plates associated with adjustable Öhlins suspension solutions. The Brembo braking system includes a dual 320mm floating disc at the front with four-piston calipers and a single 220mm disc at the rear with two-piston calipers.
The engine is three-cylinder 798 cc with Euro 5 approval. Power reaches 147 horsepower at 13.000 rpm. The figure may rise to 151 horses with the aforementioned Racing Kit at a speed of 13.250 rpm. The peak torque is 88 Nm at 10.100 rpm.

Introduced on Saturday 23 October at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, theater of the Made in Italy and Emilia-Romanga GP, the model represents a new dedication to the legendary Giacomo Agostini. The appearance is characterized by a red shade alongside a matt gray and a yellow number plate, the same color that embraces the headlight. A combination that recalls the historic livery of the 500 model with which the champion raced in the 70s. The number 1 also stands out, further underlining a link with the past.
According to the information, each example is signed and at the height of the fuel cap there is a numbered carbon fiber plate. The wheelbase extends for 1.380 millimetres, the seat is placed at a height of 830 mm and the dry weight amounts to 173 kg. The figure can be kept at 165 kg with the optional Racing Kit which provides a single-seater configuration, ECU Map dedicated and Arrow exhaust system.
