And not thanks to Italy

Mv Agusta – MV Agusta declared that its annual sales are growing by 30% in 2015, thus continuing the growth trend of the Italian brand seen in recent years.

With nearly 9.000 units sold worldwide in 2015, MV Agusta sees the majority of its growth outside of Italy, with increases of 140% in the UK, 54% in Spain, 26% in Germany and by 20% in France. MV Agusta also saw strong gains in the United States, up 50%. Interestingly, sales in Italy remained fairly flat, with a reduction of 0,1% compared to 2014 figures.

According to MV Agusta, the brand's turnover grew by 2015% in 30, thanks above all to strong sales of more premium models, such as the Turismo Veloce and the Dragster RR. “2015 was a very important year for MV Agusta. With the launch of the Turismo Veloce we created the first Touring of our brand, a motorcycle that differentiates itself from its competitors by introducing a new dimension and a truly unique travel experience.” declared the president of MV Agusta Giovanni castiglioni. “This aspect is what distinguishes MV Agusta from other manufacturers. This model has been an important factor in supporting increased sales, margins and revenues. I am very satisfied with the first year of sales and marketing activities with our participation partners, Mercedes and AMG, two brands that are a pure example of passion, performance and adrenaline."

2016 started on a positive note with the debut of the most important model in terms of sales volumes and image, the Nuova Brutale 800. The presentation of the new model to the press will take place in January 2016, 15 years after the original Brutale, with a total turnover that aims to go beyond 30.000 units. “It is the most beautiful Brutale ever built.” added Castiglioni. All these figures show that the expansion of the MV Agusta brand towards its 20.000 unit target is about to be achieved, but outside the Italian market and especially in markets outside Europe.
