MV Agusta: strategic partnership announced with GEFCO Italia

Partnership between MV Agusta e GEFCO Italy in the role of specialized logistics provider operating worldwide in the activities of supply chain leaders. A pact defined for three years, as reported.

The partnership

An agreement that extends the presence in the two-wheel panorama of GEFCO Italy, controlled by GEFCO Group, a world-class specialist in the logistics sector and European leader in the automotive sector.
The development of the partnership is gradual, “implementing for each activity the best solution that allows the brand to successfully achieve the pre-established national and international development plans; a dedicated Control Tower will allow you to manage global flows by monitoring the outcome of shipments on a daily basis", taking up what was communicated.
A collaboration agreement that is part of the five-year industrial plan presented as functional “strategic element”, reporting what is indicated by CEO di MV Agusta Motor SpA, Timur Sardarov. Agreement highlighted with enthusiasm and pride also by Fernando Pinto, General Manager di GEFCO Italy.
The management of logistics activities is therefore foreseen for MV Agusta at national, European and non-European level including customs, temporary and definitive, as reported. “GEFCO Italia will be responsible for managing the central spare parts and merchandising warehouse, for a total of approximately 14.000 codes; of all Inbound and Outbound activities - supply to the MV Agusta production site in Varese and distribution of motorcycles throughout the world, up to the management of events/fairs/roadshows and urgent flows, with provision of the dedicated vehicles most suitable for individual needs transport (vans, tractors, planes, special hand-carry services, etc.)”, is noted again in the document.
